You may be able to get information of the total points on your Ohio Driver’s License by contacting the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) and getting a copy of your driving record/abstract. This contains an the person’s three-year record of violations and accidents.

The BMV site states that you may be able to get your driving record by mail or in person.

An individual maybe able to obtain a prior 3-year driving record of violations and accidents regarding any person by mail. It is important to provide the full name, address, date of birth, social security number, and driver license number on the form.

There is a fee of $2.00 for each driving record requested made by mail. It usually takes 14-21 days to process the requests by the BMV.

By visiting a local deputy registrar license agency, you also may also acquire your driver’s license information . For each driving record request a fee of $5.50 should be paid.
